3.1 Explain the concept pneumatic devices


      It operates by a combination of force created by air and spring force.
      Used to control processes requiring quick and accurate responses, as they do not require a large amount of motive force

 3.1.1 Describes the Basic Pneumatic System


Two common types:
  1. Single action cylinder (SAC)
  2. Double action cylinder (DAC

Single-acting cylinder /system


      modified with a compressed spring mechanism,

      inserted between the end of the cylinder and the side of the piston opposite where the compressed air enters.
      after the compressed air is released, the piston is forced back down to its original position at the end of the cylinder by the spring.
      used for repeated, linear motion involving heavy loads, and requires a greater force of compressed air to complete its task.

  Double-Acting cylinder/System
      Use valves to inject two different streams of compressed air, alternating on either side of the piston.
      One burst of compressed air pushes the piston out
      Another burst pushes it back it to the starting position

  1. saya ingin bertanya soalan tentang robot yang menggunakan sistem pneumatik actuators.
    1) berapakah tekanan angin yang digunakan untuk menggerakkan robot tersebut?
    2) antara single acting slinder dengan double acting slinder yang mana lebih sesuai digunakan pada sistem pneumatik actuator?
